Halloween

We packed in as much Halloween fun as we could given the fact that Carson has had a case of Hand, Foot, Mouth this past week. We did a MSU Halloween party with the Mavericks. He had so much fun with the activities but did NOT like Stomper the mascot. He still talks about the "cow" daily but we have now convinced him the "cow" is our friend.

We then carved pumpkins at home. Well, Ryan and I carved pumpkins and Carson was interested for about....5 minutes. He did however, like to light them up every night outside.

Poor little guy had to miss his Halloween Party at school but we still made it out Trick or Treating (just not putting his hand in the candy dishes)! He LOVED Trick or Treating. After the first house, we had to stop at the end of the driveway and eat the candy before we could move on to the next house. I wish I could know what was going on in that little mind of his.  By the end, he was saying 'Trick or Treat" to everyone and did a good job of saying 'Thank You" at each house. He put up a fight when he came home and took off the Lion outfit.  We all then enjoyed lots of Candy before bed! A one time thing is okay right?

Had to stop and eat Candy right away!

Checking out the goodies

Tired boy all sugared out!

  1. Such a cute little lion! Hope the HF&M leaves soon. Looks like he's dealing with it pretty well though. :)
